Since 2015 this has been the website for the NGO Benevolent Organisation for Development, Health and Insight (BODHI) Australia. BODHI has supported small scale development projects mainly in India, Bangladesh, Thailand and Tibet since 1989. It is one of the world's oldest Buddhist development (aid) organisations based outside of Asia and the UK. "Bodhi" in Sanskrit can be translated as "true nature". "Bodhicitta" means the development of mind ("citta" or awareness) - that wants to be of benefit to all.
BODHI's people and projects are predominantly Buddhist, but not exclusively.

In May 2017 we decided to pay an administrator up to 5% of the total income for the previous calendar year for administration. In 2017 that would be $1,558, if the offer is taken up (as of October 10, 2017, it has not been. Our audited accounts are at the ACNC website (http://www.acnc.gov.au/).
