Dr. Ambedkar International Mission (AIM), Australia: have a vision to strive to secure human rights and human dignity of 250 million dalits, untouchables and tribals of India. It wishes to achieve this through the educational, social, economic and cultural development of these downtrodden people of India.AIM draws its strength from the philosophy and work of the tallest human rights champion of India, Dr.B.R.Ambedkar. AIM is a group of non-resident Indians and resident Indians who believe in the thoughts, philosophy and movement of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar to establish an egalitarian society in India, based upon equality, fraternity, liberty and justice. AIM operates in various countries through its Chapters and Units, including the US, Canada, UK, Japan, France, Germany, UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Brunei, Malaysia, Australia and others

AIM Australia constantly resolve to “Pay Back to Society”. The members believes that all educated dalits owe a debt in some way to Dr. Ambedkar’s life long crusade. They seek to restore human rights to every suffering dalit and downtrodden in India. The main thrust of the mission’s activities are (1) To bring all the Ambedkarite’s together and create a strong community, eager to help suffering dalit and downtrodden (2) To create awareness among the dalits to fight for their rights. (3) To provide direct help to needy people through welfare programmes. (This is slightly adapted from their webite)
